Section 4 of Article XIV on NAEFO's Bylaws authorizes a number of standing committees exist to involve members in the future direction of the National Association of Elected Fire Officials (NAEFO). Dedicated individuals play a crucial role in the effectiveness of NAEFO on one of the following committees:
